We had cameras in the Wagons, not sure what make but I put my own camera in, it's a nextbase can't remember what model but it's Bluetooth to my phone so I can download straight to my phone and save whatever footage I want. Now I've given up with the wagon I've put it in my car. If you run permanent power to it it will go into standby mode on it's own when you park up but If something jolts your car it will switch on and save the footage.

Cheers Pete, the nextbase 322GW looks okay and not too pricey

I've had good luck with the Thinkware brand. They have a number of different styles, depending on what you are looking for.

I have always installed a model from the "Street Guardian" or the "VIOFO" ranges in all my family's cars, and we have had no problems with them
See these listings FYI
https://dashcameras.net/best-dash-cams/
https://dashcamtalk.com/
Currently we are running:
2 off - Street Guardian SG9665GC
1 off - VIOFO - A129 Duo Pro
2 off - VIOFO - A119 V3
A good thing about all these is that it is a wedge shaped case that uses an adhesive pad to mount right up behind your rear view mirror and out of site

Thanks Richard and others ...
I will read and inwardly digest prior to making any decision.... its a 'busy' market place with lots of options, so choosing the most suitable one for my needs will require some research

My partner bought me a reverse camera/dash cam for my pickup truck. Not sure of make atm.
Screen is hidden in the mirror and comes on when reverse is selected

Hi Tyke!
I have a Recone from Roadeyes (
https://www.road-eyes.com/en/products/
). Simple to use with a nice app on my phone. Easy to install too. Bought on discount (- 80% to my supermarket two years ago)!!
The main point is invisible for the eyes
