Fs: 2016 Kawasaki Versys 1000.
My 2016 Versys 1000 is up for sale. Not an easy decision, great bike with a lot of upgrades/add-ons.
28000 miles of which 90 percent are highway traveling miles. Not a commuter or daily rider bike.
Was used for trips and camping. Well maintained and cared for. Always used Amsoil products since I bought new. Clear Texas Title.
Here is the list of improvements/add-ons/new parts:
-New chain and sprockets. (minus 2 teeth on rear) Have extra sprockets for the rear also.
- New Metzler tires, rear just mounted, front included.
- EBC brake pads - rear just replaced.
- Dale Walkers Holeshot Sport touring bars.
- Highway Pegs
- Footpeg Lowering blocks
- Radiator guard
- Front Fender extender
- Shad Top trunk with power .
- New Battery
- Fuze block Power block.
- MADSTAD windscreen system
- MC CRUISE cruise control - ECU and servo were returned to MCcruise last year to be updated.
This unit works Flawlessly!
- ECU Re Flashed by Shoodabeen Engineering in Florida - Bike runs absolutely perfect.
- Foam added to seat for comfort.
- GPS mount
- Radiator guard
- fender extender
- Voltmeter
- Delkevic muffler - Original muffler included.
- Gear postion indicator

Looking for some feedback on my listing for my 2016V1k..
I have it listed in a lot of places and haven’t really had any activity. Looking to get feedback from the group as to what may be a turn off to a potential buyer…it’s usually price. But I do have listed just slightly above blue book considering it has nearly 3k in add ons.
Any body care to share any feedback. (No worries I have thick skin)
Thanks

Perhaps not relevant in your market, however when I sold my own Versys 1000 GT at 13,500 miles and three years of age (I was the only owner from new) I was offered an almost immediate 60% of new cost by a dealer and no - one wanted to offer any more.
The bike was as new, with the only changes from original spec being a lightly smoked "Powerbronze" taller screen and belly pan from the same company. The original parts were included and the Powerbronze accessories were fitted from new. The bike was main dealer serviced each year with all ancillaries (tyres, chain etc.) in good condition. When it was collected, the driver said that it was the cleanest bike that he had ever seen, and he intended to suggest that his friend bought it, as he was currently looking for another bike.
In summary, with 28,000 miles and at five (or six?) years old, is it overpriced? Perhaps only me, however the trailer fitment would certainly deter me too!

I withdrew the trailer from my listing and am advertising it separate.
All the motorcycle dealers here whine about not having any inventory used or new to sell and that used prices are much higher etc.
I was just trying to get blue book value for the bike. Fortunately I am not in a rush. The bike I want to purchase is sold out for 22 and I have to wait for the 23’s
