    I can honestly say.....baffled!  :lostit:

Who knew mechanical sympathy could be a bad thing?  :138:

I'd laugh.....but it has dragged on too long now, just want my bike back!

I'll keep pushing for the list of parts & share them when I get it!
& now for my next midlife crisis....

"Too gentle" to me means lugging the engine by giving too much throttle at very low rpms.  If that is not what they mean then I am baffled.  :187:

Well.....I still have no idea what happened to the Versys & I'm guessing never will  :187:

In a nutshell, I've taken a deal to make all the stress & hassle go away! I've accepted a new bike from the dealer. Having lost all faith in the Versys & the support the bike comes with, I've gone rougue  :001:

The Tracer 9GT doesn't quite match the road presence of the Versys IMHO, & perhaps falls slightly short in mile munching comfort, but oh my god what a bike! (& the quickshifter is epic!)

Should I ever discover what happened to the Versys, I'll certainly share it. In the meantime, safe riding  :028:

Congrats on your new bike. I hope your Tracer treats you better than the V.

Congrats on the new bike! I've heard nothing but good things about them.
Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass: itís about learning how to ride in the rain!
