Don't want you all to feel bad, but I just changed to RSIIIs after getting 9500 on the OEM tires.  Could have perhaps gone another 1k but was ready to make the change.

Tire wear to me is a mystery , Never have i got as much as 9500 miles \ 15300km on any brand of sport touring tires .. 120/70/17 front tire and a 180/55/17 rear tire ...i am used to just under 10000km/6200miles give or take.
I am religious as to TPI and ride mostly distance with little city riding or short trips , I can ride aggressively in the corners using most of the tire and this year i rode on a variety of tarmac , asphalt , chip seal, etc . at a varity of outside temperatures  for hours on end. I change out tires just short of the wear indicators or if they show growing poor condition .
I know that others have gotten what i consider huge milage but i can only wonder how this is possible  :notsure:
    Cheers

I live in flat Florida and always wear out the center of my tires, however I've seen riders who live in the mountains that wear out the edges, so that has something to do with it as well as the road composition. A friend of mine believes that downshifting at higher speeds before entering a corner uses up a tire, so he uses his brakes harder before he downshifts.  I'm happy if I get at least 5,000 miles from a rear and will ride the way I like to ride regardless of tire wear.  BTW - I've been running Mich Roads for the last 20 years

Bit of an update on the T32GT ....  had a opportunity to go for another short tour (fall ride)  thought i would push the last out of the tires and i am glad i did .. total of 11400 km/7083miles  now and still wearing well.. mostly round profile and not squaring off dramatically  just still at the wear bars.
More than this is though is how well the tires feel in the corners even at there end of life scenario ..
    cheers

as to the above the milage was at 10860 km not the 11400 as posted , I had just read the thread as to the Metzler Roadtec SE  tires  and the 11400 was stuck into my old noggin .....Good performance as to both tires i would say .

Not yet Keener. But my intention is to shop them this week in order to begin my Versys season with new tires. So far in 2023, I’ve been riding the FZ07.

I’m also following the "GT tire thread" to check what tire life others are getting with other brands. But I do believe that T32 has the best $/km ratio.
