Gravel rash on engine casing

Hi everyone, unfortunately slipped on some gravel today at a T junction and had to lay the bike down on the right hand side. I managed to get under it a bit so not much damage but any ideas on the paint colour of the clutch housing engine casing. It's a Goldy silver colour and I guess it's going to be tricky to match. I have the Mk3 2019 Versys 1000 in white and the side engine covers are a gun metal/magnesium sort of colour. I know one option could be to buy some R & G engine covers but I don't like them much so would rather touch up the paint, if possible. Has anyone else had the same issue with paint colour?
Please note this is just a generic photo of the engine casing, it's not my bike so you can't see the damage.
Thanks in advance.

I've put some scratches in mine from my boots, I was asking a mate of mine who had a bmw with the same problem, he took his bike to one of the local motor factor shops and the scanned his casing on the bike and mixed up an aerosol.

Engine casing are at risk when the bike goes down.
in 2015, couldn't see that road was covered with oil because of the rain, wife and I finished down the asphalt as well as the Big V. When I lifted it up, the left casing had a hole in due to the abrasion.
If, you just drop the bike even at a stand still, you will potentially get marks on the casing.
Tryed the great idea to put carbon fiber films to hide the scratches. With the heat, it shrinks...... Painted in flat black part of it, but not the nicest option.
For 40€ I installed these (thanks to inflation they almost double the price now!!!)

Design goes well with the big V I find and it gives additional protection, just in case.

I have the same problem on the left. I haven't found the right color yet, turns out to be a problem. I've also thought about those protective caps, but I'm a bit afraid to unscrew the original bolts and then place the new ones, can't this cause oil leakage?

Shouldn't cause any leakage, just swop the screws one at a time if there's room, if not it shouldn't leak if you have to take the ones you have to swop out at the same time.

With the bike on the sidestand, the oil level is away from the clutch cover. Careful removal of the cover can likely be done without destroying the gasket, or perhaps you can smear a little RTV on areas that may have separated. Worst case, you can get a new gasket.

I presumed you were fitting the guards, as Ray said if you want to remove the whole cover just buy a new gasket , they're cheap, and do it on the sidestand. When my mate did his he did it fitted to the engine, he just removed the screws where it needed painting and masked everything off. If you can't get an exact colour match, paint the whole cover, you'll probably never know its been painted. Like I said my mate removed the screws and painted the whole cover while still on the bike so didn't disturb the gasket.
