Hi if you have this model, you'll know what i mean. the headlights are sooo feeble in the dark i needed led spotlights to see the road in winter darkness. i ride in rural Ireland, the west coast and it gets proper dark. the headlights are so bad the only time the road is really lit up properly is when theres a car behind me. Has anyone come up with a permenant solution? i'm not convinced that the LED bulbs produce enough scattered light for the reflectors to work as efficiently as they do with standard bulbs. Has anyone invested in the osram nightbreakers or the philips super bright H7's.
I don't want to be sitting in the dark forever!
help me out lads :lostit: :lostit: :lostit:

well all that aside,i decided to treat myself to a new Philips CrystalVision H7 bright white light bulb. Now i,ve got big paws and its not easy but chuck the bike up on the centre stand and position the handlebars and you get good access to the back of the headlights.its a bit fiddly but 10mins and the bulbs changed.
My god,its a game changer i could actually see the road ahead in rural Galway! Infact its so bright i got flashed by a couple of cars so we did the you flash me and i`ll flash you dance. But more importantly its an easy upgrade and it makes the driving experience at night safer.
Supplied by amazon and comes with a 1 year(12 months) warranty so if it doesn`t last the year I'll be claiming a new one.
safe driving and i know its early but happy Christmas. :celebrate:

Similar recent experience in very wet conditions so I have ordered the same following your suggestion.
    Thanks,

Hey Stu,let me know how you get on and spread the word, i like the idea of a 12 months waranty too but weŽll have to see if its honored.
    safe riding.
