There's such a lot of parts made in places like this that people don't realise how un h and s they are.

Maybe i'm old skool, but there is way too much H&S as it is nowadays. Everything comes with a warning, can't climb a ladder unless someone holds onto it for example. Speaking of ladders, only a matter of time before there's a stop sign at the top of them, (that used be a joke in my day). I work in the health industry and there's more H&S there than i've ever seen in years. Can't do anything without being triple checked.
What happened to common sense? While i agree some of the practices in that video are questionable, don't forget these guys are doing this every day. They know what they are doing.
"Sometimes i wonder if all of this is happening, because i didn't forward that email to 10 other people..."

I also think it's amazing to see their 'production line' in action

Interesting but worrying video. Did anyone spot the child labourers carrying goods about and sitting operating machines? I wonder what motorcycle brand these tanks were intended for? I’m sure Kawasaki would not dare be one of them!
Life in some countries is what it is, of course, and people have to earn a living, but I for one would not be comfortable knowingly supporting factories using children.

I would wonder at the gauge of steel that they are using ....looks pretty light to me .but then again the way they are throwing them around who knows .
Also looking at the end product , they look like RE tanks .Factory is probaly set up to make tanks for almost anyone that makes throw away motorcycles.

My dad would have looked at that and said "plus or minus half an inch". Which wouldn't be far off the mark

I used to work in industrial and laboratory environments, so I understand what Kryton 2 is on about with excessive H&S.
However, that was lethal! The clothing seems designed to catch in machinery, there's so much sharp scrap metal lying around and the sparks with no eye protection! Flip-flops: were they special steel-toe-cap flip-flops? No machinery guards, and using child labour too. I could go on.
It reminds me of a silent film I saw on YouTube of a British locomotive works taken in the early1900s, which was similar in it's total absence of any H&S.
Socially distant since 1954.
