Clean pipes

Hi all, my exhaust pipes are letting the bikes looks down so i have been looking for something to clean them up with. There is a product called Dr downpipes has anyone used this, if so was it any good is it worth the £16:99

Before spending too much of the well-earned stuff, try this for £2 a pop.



Use rubber gloves!  I put it on with a brush, agitate it with a toothbrush, or fine wire wool and wash off thoroughly.  Works a treat for me

100milesaway on here is the undisputed king of clean pipes, his Versys 1000 had the cleanest pipes by far, his bike is now owned by Towerman, I assume that the pipes are still immaculate

yes they are still shiny

I also did my manky 2009 V650 45,000 mile pipes the other day and brought them up yo the same standard

1st use harpic and wash well
2nd use 0000 wire wool and a good metal polish like Peek
3rd finish off with a buffing cone in a portable drill
