Hi guys, I have had issues with False Neutrals especially with 4th gear. I have seen posts on the FB groups with a lot of other people having the same issues. Racetorx have designed an additional support that uses the case bolt holes with longer fasteners supplied. If you want one for yours here is the link.

See the pic of it fitted to mine...

    Cheers Gaz...

    Looks good  :028:

False neutrals?? Sorry to hear about this but here, it never happened in more than 5 years with my Versys.
Maybe it can be a relief to install such a part but I believe it is more related to the shifting method than a deficiency of the engine.

Many years ago, I used to have occasionnal missed shifts on my ZX-11. While this bike (in general; not mine) was known for rounding off the shifting dogs, I revised my shifting method and it never happened afterward. I'm still shifting that way since then and never had another missed shift on any motorcycle.

Mine got better as the engine got to a higher mileage. By about 30,000 miles the problem was non existent.
2015 Versys 1000- 103,000 miles (doesn't use any oil between changes), 1 frayed starter circuit wire, 10 shims (over two checks), 8 rear tyres, 9 front tyres, 12 oil changes, 2 sets of plugs, 2 air filter, 10 fork seals,  1 set of head race bearings, 4 chain and sprocket sets, 4 screens, 5 pairs of front brake pads, 2 pair of rear pads (old ones wouldn't' wear out) 1 parking light bulb, 2 new front wheel bearings (precautionary),11 washes and counting. Also 1 front brake light switch.
