They won't be bothering us, Nor will we be bothering them Rog.  We are safe from them on the roads we travel. :015:

Agreed Geoff, I wasn't expecting  that we would be of any interest to the North Yorkshire  constabulary, I  reckon they have bigger fish to fry   :008:

It must be hard for the cops to imagine (I was going to put a full stop there, but ..) why the police “have struggled to engage” with the biking community, when speed limits get reduced, camera vans proliferate and average speed cameras sprout everywhere like weeds with unmarked cops earnestly patrolling the roads looking to fill their quotas of convictions! I can’t see how anyone could possibly fail to like them little darlings especially if goaded entrapment is their new plan. It must be awful for the poor dears having to ride an H2SX for work…….
Just saying, but ride safe y’all.

They're not all bad,  I do know a couple of traffic bobbys that ride bikes and drive the traffic cars and they are very lenient unless you are a complete nob. One actually comes on holiday with us now and again,  funny thing on one holiday he actually crashed his bike and he's a fully trained bike cop. I'd to go and lift the bike off him but I accidentally kicked him first, all in fun because he's a good mate, though we did have one round here a few years ago that even his colleagues didn't like, he'd try and do his own grandma if he could
