    hi,
After 11 years of riding my 2004 concours, I've switched over to a 2016 Versys 1000 LT.  From a 1986 design to fuel injection, ABS, way too many gizmos, I feel like Buck Rogers.  COG was always great for advice, hoping to pick up a few tips here.  Starting with any ideas for a clean install of a TomTom Rider GPS? Their bracket that allows for quick disconnect, and wiring into the bike seems a bit clunky.  Any ideas?

Welcome along Spudwinkle , a few memberes on here  have moved from a Concourse ( called a GTR 1400 over here)

The Versys 1000, whilst very different to your last bike is a very capable bike which I'm sure you will enjoy

Sat Nav mounts basically consist of the one that Kawasaki market which attaches to the fork tops or you could consider a RAM mount on the bars an alternative would be Iconic )see link below)

    I think S W Motec also offer a fitment

Welcome aboard - your original Concours was a mile eater, but very top heavy.  I think you will appreciate your "new" Versys.

I thought they call it a Sruocnoc over there?  Is your shifter on the right side?  My Connie is still in the garage.  It's the older 1000cc version.  Seeing how long I can keep her, before my wife won't live with another woman.

Welcome..... I had the pleasure of riding an old Concours ZG1000 , actually one of the best touring bikes in its time and they would last forever ...I would keep it just to have one  :028:

I owned the GTR1000 for a few years I loved it. It was a mk1. If you could get it on the centre stand that was quite an achievement. Mine needed new cam at about 40k miles the the ignition switch was on its way out and the rear shock so I found something a bit lighter.

    Welcome.
