Does look nice but I prefer the versys. Manufacturers keep bringing out similar bikes but keep upping the horsepower which in real road riding is pointless. Around 130 bhp in my opinion is more than enough for the road ( I've been riding 50 years and 20 + years racing) so I've I good idea. Suzuki do make a brilliant engine so in my opinion it's all down to looks more than anything. I would like a versys with the suspension that lowers when coming to a stop, that for me would make it the perfect bike for what I what I want from one.

From what I read, they made it taller than the GT to (it seems) play up to those who want "adventure" style.... guess I have to go sit on one, lol.......

Experience is a great teacher, she gives you the tests first and the lessons later.

I do think they missed a trick and were slow to the party, the GX should probably have come out before the GT.

It's a very nice motorcycle. Somewhat targeting BMW's S1000XR. Kawasaki would need to step up their game some to update their Versys to compete. Horesepower, if you're into the numbers, is won by Suzuki. Suzuki coins its GX as a 'crossover' bike, since it doesn't come standard with neither side cases, nor a centerstand. To get those in a standard package, you'll need to order the GX+, or buy them as 'accessories' for the GX.

Suzuki IMO seems to have come along with what could be a great motorcycle , they have used a suberb engine one of their best and the bike looks good from its pictures .
I think that its price point is pretty high especially when you add on panniers and center stand , it does come with some great tech but a base model would have been a good idea to attract new buyers to this model.
I look forward to some reviews and how it compares to the Versys and other competition in this now more popular segment.
We shall see ..
