In some ways its more fun adding such items yourself retrospectively   :001:

Fully agree that I enjoy moding my bike to suit myself but while the guy how installed it for me was impressed with the quality of the Nitron gear (he races ASBK and really knows his stuff) Kaw could probably install something similar for an added $500 and make far more sales

So I finally got the shocked fitted over the weekend and took the bike for a run two up yesterday afternoon. Makes a big difference to the bike especially in rougher corners, on the smoother roads hard to tell. Its made the bike feel a lot more stable and and planted not as lively when you hit bumps mid corner. When there were two of us on the bike before it would manage but didn't have enough dampening and it seemed a rougher ride hitting bumps and ridges like on bridges. It seems like now with the uprated spring its not working hard at all to control weight.

Its an expensive option and some people may not see the point but we ride longer distances 500-600km in a day, but to get it much better than this means replacing the bike and that's way more expensive. Next will be the front forks in a few months time, hopefully.

Will probably do the Putty over Christmas if my son comes down

If it happens I'll let you know so you can take mine for a spin

Assuming I can "borrow" it back after my son rides it

Thanks, Im assuming the Nitron Cartridges give the bike a much better feel seeing that what you "feel" travel up through the bars. Are you happy with the improvements?

Hell yes, so much more comfortable and the bike is so much more stable though corners, especially if the surface is less than smooth

Yeah I didn't notice a lot of difference on smooth roads but once we were on the Putty Road at speed I could really notice it, I could also feel a lot more harshness through the front, probably because the back was so smooth.
